A Season For Miracles- - Emilie Thompson (Carla Gugino) is forced to take charge of her nephew J.T. Emilie has nowhere to run until they land in the sleepy town of Bethlehem just before Christmas. America & The Holocaust– Deceit & Indifference - I would recommend it to anyone that is interested in the War World II era or for anyone that wants a deeper understanding of how America responded to the most horrific event in history. It goes in more depth of what America did rather than what happened during the holocaust. Film maker did a good job to show limited information about the holocaust in a way to have a basic understanding without going into to much detail, so they can focus on the main point of the storyline. District 9 - 28 years ago, aliens landed in Johannesburg, South Africa. A powerful corporation known as Multi-National United moves all the aliens into a concentration camp called District 9. English Patient, The- The story deals with the gradually revealed histories of a critically burned English accented Hungarian man, his Canadian nurse, a Canadian-Italian thief, and an Indian sapper in the British Army as they live out the end of World War II in an Italian villa. The novel won the Canadian Governor General's Award and the Booker Prize for fiction. The novel was adapted into an award-winning film of the same name in 1996. The narrative is non-linear. Kennedy is elected the 35th president of the U.S., both the youngest president and the first Roman Catholic to hold the office. He is assassinated in 1963.
